Requirements :

Grade 12/ Matric (NQF L4) as acknowledged by SAQA. No knowledge of the work is required.
COMPETENCIES: Good verbal exchange (written and verbal) skills, planning and organising skills. Computer skills. Sound understanding of SCM methods will be an advantageous.

Duties :

The incumbent will be accountable for Compiling and retaining records. Checking and issuing furniture, tools and add-ons to elements and individuals. Identify redundant, non-serviceable and disposal that are out-of-date and not usable. Verifying asset register. Updating and retaining a service providers (including contractors) database. Registering suppliers on Logis or comparable system. Requesting and receiving quotations.

Capturing specification on the digital buying system. Placing orders. Issuing and receiving bid documents. Providing secretariat or logistical assist at some point of the bid consideration and contracts conclusion process. Compiling draft archives as required. Placing orders for goods. Receiving and verifying items from suppliers. Capturing items in registers databases. Receiving request for items from users. Issuing items to users. Maintaining items register. Updating and preserving register of suppliers.
